I'm posting my skincare favorites for the month of April!
I haven't been putting on too much makeup lately so this time, I'll say thank you for my skincare routine that helped my post-pregnancy skin! I can say that most of the time now, I don't have to wear makeup to go out to do a quick errand.
I'm loving Philosophy Skincare! I got the whole set last Christmas (from hubby) and regret not using it earlier! My skin got really nice and even my aesthetician noticed it! I added the Etude House Wonderpore Freshner recently, which I also got last Christmas (given by my younger sister). The whole set is by far my favorite regimen!
My recent buy during the Sephora Chic Week: Hourglass Immaculate Foundation in Nude.
I've been wanting to try this for a long time now and finally was able to with the 15% off coupon for $50.96. Original price was freaking $55 (tax not included) for 1 fl. oz.!
Anyway, I got to try it and I really want to love it. But it just won't work on my skin type. This works best for normal to oily skin. I do have dry to combination skin so wearing this accentuates the dryness on my upper lip, around my nose and the creases on my forehead. On my cheeks it is very flawless. It does look and feel like powder once it sets on your skin, mattifying too. I was shine-free in about 5hrs of wear and no need for touch-ups.
I applied this both using my fingers and using a foundation brush. No primer and no setting powder. Didn't transfer on clothes. But like I've said, I really want to love this, because it really look flawless, but up close...you can see the dry patches. Again, this will work best on people with normal to oily skin. Sadly, not for me :(

It's the Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer.
I tried it today and this is my first impression:
If you're familiar with spray sunscreens, it is similar to this. However, I find that you have to spray this away from anything or anybody else to avoid spraying lotion on them too...like my dresser. It wipes away but it's a hassle to clean up every after spray.
Anyway, I find it easy to use once you get the hang of it. Really saves time when in a hurry. And you have to spray continuously to avoid spraying too much product on one spot.
